Makkah
‘O Muslims, hear what I have to say’
Amongst the crowd of millions, a man stood before and addressed two dozen worshippers seated in rows. The 27th night of Ramadan, the potential of the night of Decree being this very night, he wanted to spread some pearls of wisdom from our beloved Nabi, Muhammad Salallahu Alayhi Wa Salaam.
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Whoever says, ‘Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,’ one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea.
‘As much as the foam of the sea! ‘ he repeated for emphasis. ‘Today we are in Makkah! In Masjid Al Haram! On the 27th night of Ramadan! Take advantage my dear brothers’.
Takbeerat hummed through the crowd, proclaiming the greatness of our lord, who forgives whom he wills and accepts sincere repentance. And just as quickly as he came, he also went.
This beauty epitomises the Muslim who adheres to his faith. Who enjoins the good and forbids the evil. Who takes advantage of the aggregate rewards from one’s good Actions. The butterfly effect of goodness that our Rabb will calculate for us.
